Export reports and PDFs.

Package the solved case, warnings, model basis, geometry, and charts for design review.

What you will learn

How to export PDF reports, PNG report chart assets, and trade-study PDFs from current solved snapshots.

Prerequisites

A successful solve. For Flowfield sections in a report, generate a current Flowfield Studio result before exporting the PDF.

Steps

  1. Click Solve and review warnings on the Review tab.
  2. To export a PDF report, click toolbar Export PDF, choose File > Export PDF Report..., or use Review > Exports > Report PDF….
  3. If inputs changed after the last solve, the Stale Results dialog appears. Choose Re-solve now, Export stale anyway, or Cancel. Stale PDF exports embed a warning.
  4. Choose a path in Export PDF Report. The report uses the solved project snapshot and includes solve mode, convergence status, station states, warnings, and model/backend availability.
  5. To export report chart assets, click toolbar Export PNGs, choose File > Export PNG Charts..., or use Review > Exports > Report PNGs…. Select the folder in Choose PNG Export Location.
  6. For trade studies, open Studies. Run a sweep or contour, then use Export PNG, Export SVG, or Export PDF in that study view.

Expected result

The exported PDF or PNG bundle corresponds to the solved snapshot. If the export was stale, the output and UI make that explicit.

Common notes

  • PDF reports can include Flowfield Studio inspection artifacts when a current steady or transient view is available.
  • Report PNGs are chart/report assets, not the same as Flowfield Studio current-view or full-domain PNGs.
  • Keep the PDF with DXF geometry when the review depends on both performance assumptions and contour geometry.
