Rocket Propulsion Laboratory LLC publishes RPL Engine Workbench. This page identifies the terms presented before purchase and summarizes the product boundaries that apply to every use.

Engineering limitation

RPL Engine Workbench is preliminary engineering software for design iteration, review, and documentation. Independent engineering verification, qualified review, and appropriate testing remain required before hardware decisions.

Trial and license scope

Trial mode is built into the app. Paid plans unlock the capabilities and limits shown at checkout: Personal Monthly or Annual for one named user performing noncommercial work, including an individual university-team member; Business for one named commercial user. Licenses purchased under earlier plan names remain valid under their original terms.

Software and output ownership

Rocket Propulsion Laboratory LLC retains rights in the application, algorithms, documentation, embedded reference data, and branding. You retain your rights in your inputs and generated outputs, subject to law and third-party rights. Business users may deliver outputs to employers and clients; Personal output use remains noncommercial.

No software or key sharing

Licenses may not be shared. Do not copy, sublicense, resell, share, or redistribute the application, license keys, activated seats, or restricted delivery materials except as expressly allowed by the applicable terms. These restrictions do not reduce rights granted by applicable open-source licenses.

No safety certification

The software does not certify flight readiness, manufacturing readiness, structural margins, combustion stability, or range-safety compliance.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided as-is to the maximum extent permitted by law. The applicable EULA contains the complete warranty disclaimer and liability limits, including a cap tied to amounts paid in the preceding 12 months.

Vendor Terms: License scope, output rights, monthly and annual renewal, cancellation, refund conditions, support, and platform terms
Checkout and EULA: Freemius End User License Agreement; Freemius is the reseller and Merchant of Record
Privacy: Website, checkout, licensing, support, local project data, and retention
Third parties: Release-specific third-party components, licenses, and source information
Compliance: Export-control, sanctions, organizational, and user responsibilities
